Aggrepedia

Independent experimental project to develop on online encyclopedia aggregator using PHP & MySQL.

American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam

Second iteration of an information portal for AmCham to provide over 1,000 members access to Vietnam-related business and investment events, as well as updating their own contact information in the online member directory.

Artizanya

Artizanya is a small business near Washington, DC that specializes in fine Turkish textiles. They needed a sharp web design with the ease of updating their content via a content management system.

Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce

The website takes a streamlined approach at consolidating information from various sources on the Web including major news outlets as well as regional AmCham websites. The site employs XML-based RSS feeds to import syndicated news and event information allowing the content to be synchronous and updated at the “speed of the Internet.”

GoFeedRacer.com

Simple AJAX, PHP, and MySQL experimental application to allow for constant monitoring of RSS feeds. Simple user interface design requires no page refreshes using XMLHttpRequest methods to pull data from the web server. E-mail integration sends out all RSS feed alerts on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis to subscribers to keep up to date with the latest news.

Phillips Exeter Academy Alumni/ae

Redesigned the online community for the Phillips Exeter Academy’s alumni/ae. Provided a central forum for alumni to communicate, reconnect, and search for old friends. Created a blog-style site content management system allowing users to contribute news and articles of interest to share with the rest of the community.

US Department of Agriculture

Design a system to facilitate online client collaboration and feedback. Developed a unique content and feedback managment system, integrating client-side, server-side, and RDBMS technologies.

Development activities resulted in one U.S. patent and an additional patent application.

US Department of Education

Led the design, development, and implementation of web-based database reporting tool for national adult educational statistics using ColdFusion and SQL Server 2000. Designed user interface and tested it against Section 508 accessibility guidelines. Led requirements gathering and documentation of Office of Vocational and Adult Education’s data collection and reporting application through client meetings and industry analysis

Vanderbilt University Economics Department

Created Department’s website to provide students, professors, and researchers with a central source for Economics Dept information. Consulted with professors to improve online access to course material.
